Meet Ogre, Troll’s bigger-wheel brother. Troll and Ogre offer the same ability to accommodate a wide array of drivetrains, brakes, and cargo-hauling accessories. The main difference is that Ogre runs on 29" wheels, the Troll on 26".
Built of 4130 CroMoly steel and based on the tried-and-true geometry of our venerable Karate Monkey, Ogre is designed to be a platform for exploration, commuting, trailer-pulling, on-road and off-road touring, and just riding along. Both frames feature gusseted sloping toptubes, Surly Trip Guides for running full shift and brake housing, mounts for linear-pull and disc brakes, and ample room between the stays for high-volume rubber…up to about 2.5".
Ogre comes with our suspension-corrected (80mm) fork. It features mid-blade eyelets and low-blade barrel bosses for mounting front racks. We provide canti pivots and disc brake mounts, so you can choose a system that best suits your stopping needs. And it’s specifically designed to allow the use of a fender, disc brake, and front rack at the same time. Yep, you read that right.
Like the fork, the rear end allows all-at-once rack, fender and disc compatibility. Spaced for 135mm hubs, the ‘dropouts’ are just like Troll’s…rear load horizontals with a derailleur hanger, slotted disc brake mounts, M10 x 1mm threaded holes for mounting Surly Bill & Ted trailer-connecting hardware (or B.O.B. Nutz), and a dedicated anchoring point for a Rohloff OEM2 axle plate. We designed a ton of versatility into these framesets because we want you to build up a Troll or Ogre the way it will best serve you. Framesets and complete bikes are available in sizes 16, 18, 20, 22 and supergiant 24". Tall folks, we got your back.
The complete bike parts spec is durable and sensible…just the sort of value you expect from a Surly. If you’re like us, your bike needs will likely change by the day, week, month or year. Ride it to the office during the day, rip some local single-track after work, use it to tote crates of freakishly-large tubers next weekend, and tour that stretch of off-the-beaten-path double-track next month. Free Delivery - Delivery is free on orders over £20, with delivery starting from £2.95 for orders below this value. There are surcharges for international deliveries, off-shore deliveries and some areas of the UK. Accurate delivery costs will be provided at checkout where applicable. Our dispatch time for in-stock items is usually 24-48 hours and delivery typically takes a further 2-3 working days. Please ensure you select the correct delivery options to display the correct postage cost to avoid any delay on your order. Not selecting the correct options may incur additional charges.
Bikes - All bikes are checked in our workshop prior to dispatch. Bike orders are typically dispatched within 48 hours of your order. Please note - most bikes are delivered partially assembled - this varies from model to model, please call to confirm what building is required prior to ordering.
Delivery for International Orders - Please note, items sent outside the EU are sold exclusive of VAT but may be subject to import duties and taxes, which may be levied once a shipment reaches your country. For details of current customs charges please contact your local Customs authorities.

Stock Check - The majority of our products are usually in stock and we try to keep our stock levels as up-to-date and as accurate as possible. At Triton Cycles we aim to provide a returns service that is simple and hassle-free.
Should you need to return anything to us, it is very important that you telephone us first to advise us of your intention and the reason why you wish to return the goods. If you're not completely satisfied with an item you may return it within 14 days of purchase, and as long as the item isn't fitted or used we're happy to receive it back for a refund or exchange. Return shipping costs in this instance are non-refundable.
If the item is being returned as a result of our error i.e. damaged, defective, wrong item sent etc, we will refund Royal Mail First Class or Standard Parcel postage costs. If this is the case please include a copy of your purchase receipt when you return the goods for inspection. Please DO NOT sign for goods if you think that they are damaged, or the packaging has been tampered with. Instead, refuse to accept the delivery and contact us immediately(within 3 working days) so that we can take the matter up with our courier. Replacements will be sent to you as soon as possible. Signing for goods later found to be unacceptably damaged in transit complicates negotiations with the courier in dealing with your complaint. However, if a minor component is missing or broken(e.g. a reflector) please DO NOT return the whole bike. Simply contact us and we will replace the part as soon as possible. Please DO NOT discard any original packaging until you are fully satisfied with your purchase. Should you need to return a bicycle, couriers will not transport a machine not in the original or suitable packaging. Warranty Claims: All goods purchased from Triton are covered by a full warranty and generally covers manufacturing faults and defects including poor workmanship. If you think your item is faulty and would like to make a warranty claim then please phone/email us before returning any goods - we may be able to solve your problem without you incurring any postage costs.
