Cannondale has come a long way since its birth in a crowded loft above a pickle factory in 1971, when it introduced the cycling industry's first bicycle trailer. The company grew quickly during its early years, adding cycling apparel and accessory lines along the way while also earning a strong reputation for innovation and quality. That reputation proved invaluable when Cannondale introduced its first bicycle, a touring model, in 1983, followed by a road racing model and a mountain bike model in 1984.

Established 1972 in Tachia, Taichung, Giant is now the largest manufacturer of bikes in the world.

GT BIKES

The Kona Bicycle Company was established in 1988 by Dan Gerhard and Jacob Heibron , in Vancouver , it remains one of the few independent bike firms still run by the original owners. Kona bikes are designed by cyclists for cyclists.

MONGOOSE
Founded in 1974 in a So Cal garage, Mongoose has always been an innovator. From the first product - cast-magnesium MotoMag wheels to the current crop of BMX bikes, Mongoose is synonymous with bicycle performance.

SE Racing's history started over 35 years ago in 1970. That's when teenage entrepreneur, Scot Breithaupt began promoting "Pedal-Cross" races in Long Beach, CA.

SWOBO
Tim Parr first started Swobo in 1991 when nobody else would hire him. What started out as a movement to change the way people think of bicycle clothes (and ultimately the bicycle itself), has developed into a group of like-minded citizens that span from San Francisco to Manhattan, and Tokyo to London.

TREK
Trek first started making bicycle frames in 1976. Two years later they started offering complete bicycles in addition to the bare frames.
