*Note: These are Tern’s standard model specifications. The specifications for your country may differ slightly. Tern do their best to ensure that the specifications listed here accurately reflect the exact parts found on their production bikes. However, component changes do occur for various reasons and there may be brief delays on site updates. Tern reserve the right to make component changes without prior notification, which may cause discrepancies with the information listed on the web.

Technology:
N-FOLD™ TECHNOLOGY - THE FASTER FOLD
With N-Fold Technology, Tern bikes fold small and fast—in three easy steps. It’s simple enough for anybody to master. And with the handlepost folded to the outside of the package, Tern bikes can also roll when folded for easy transport.

OCL™ FRAME JOINT - ADVANCED FOLDING TECHNOLOGY
The key to any folding bicycle is the main folding joint. Done well, it locks the two halves of the frame together without any hint of movement or sound. It should be easy to operate and work flawlessly year after year. The OCL Joint does all of these things and is a new reference in folding frame technology.

DOUBLETRUSS™ TECHNOLOGY - STIFFER BY DESIGN
The rear half of Tern frames use a patented 3D structure we call DoubleTruss to build in extra stiffness. It helps resist torsional forces so Tern’s bikes flex less. That means increased stiffness and much better power transfer from the pedals to the rear wheel. The proof’s in the ride.

PHYSIS™ 3D HANDLEPOST - THE NEW BENCHMARK
Five patented technologies and unique manufacturing technology add up to the strongest, stiffest folding handlepost available. The Physis uses a special manufacturing process called 3D forging, which forms the post from a single piece of aluminium, eliminating all welds.

VELO ERGONOMIC LOCKON GRIPS - BE KIND TO YOUR HANDS
ErgoLock grips are nice and wide for excellent palm support so your hands can relax during the ride. They also lock in place on the handlebars so they’re always in the correct position, unlike non-locking grips which tend to rotate out of position.

SCHWALBE KOJAK TYRES - FAST AND LIGHT
Light and fast tyres with enough volume to keep things comfy. Kojak’s are ideal for fast commutes or longish weekend rides.

SHIMANO CLARIS 1 X 8 DRIVETRAIN - SIMPLE AND CLEAN
For urban riding, a 1x gear set up is the way to go for simplicity and low maintenance. Shimano’s Claris derailleur combined with a Shimano trigger shift is fast and precise and gives you 8 widely spaced gears.

MAGNETIX™ 2.0 - KEEP IT TOGETHER
The Magnetix 2.0 uses powerful magnets to keep your bike folded for situations like carrying your bike up and down stairs. With a pull force 10-15 Kgf, the Magnetix 2.0 will keep your bike folded even when being jostled and moved about.

At Triton Cycles we aim to provide a returns service that is simple and hassle-free.

Should you need to return anything to us, it is very important that you telephone us first to advise us of your intention and the reason why you wish to return the goods. If you're not completely satisfied with an item you may return it within 14 days of purchase, and as long as the item isn't fitted or used we're happy to receive it back for a refund or exchange. Return shipping costs in this instance are non-refundable.

If the item is being returned as a result of our error i.e. damaged, defective, wrong item sent etc, we will refund Royal Mail First Class or Standard Parcel postage costs. If this is the case please include a copy of your purchase receipt when you return the goods for inspection. Instead, refuse to accept the delivery and contact us immediately(within 3 working days) so that we can take the matter up with our courier. Replacements will be sent to you as soon as possible. Signing for goods later found to be unacceptably damaged in transit complicates negotiations with the courier in dealing with your complaint. Please DO NOT discard any original packaging until you are fully satisfied with your purchase. Should you need to return a bicycle, couriers will not transport a machine not in the original or suitable packaging. If you think your item is faulty and would like to make a warranty claim then please phone/email us before returning any goods - we may be able to solve your problem without you incurring any postage costs.
