The perfect balance of this frame is reflected in it’s trail accuracy, power delivery and climbing surge.

  • Machined taper 1.5” Head tube
  • Top tube, Internal gear-cable routing
  • Small and Medium 650B sizes and Medium and Large 29er sizes.
  • Dropper post guides.
  • 142 x 12 DT Swiss Thru-axle

  • Seat Post: 31.6mm
  • Seat Clamp: 34.9mm
  • Front Mech: 34.9mm Top pull. [High band works best for tyre clearance]
  • BB: PF30
  • Headset : Integrated, 41.8ø upper, 51.8ø lower, for taper head tube. Recommended: FSA No.42/ACB.

The Sync is designed for trail riding and singletrack with an aggressive edge, it works best with a 120mm travel fork.

Both bearings are ‘ACB’, meaning ‘Angular Contact Bearings’. The head-tube seat angle is 45º.The headset drops into a tapered seat in the head tube and is tensioned using a headset tensioner within the fork steerer. Tensioning the headset centres it on the taper and prevents any play. The larger lower bearing allows a tapered steerer and larger crown. This gives sharper response and helps reduce flex under braking.

  • FORK RECOMMENDATION: 100 – 130mm (120-140mm for Medium 650B)
  • TAPER HEAD TUBE: Machined from Ti billet. The 1.5? lower bearing allows a tapered fork steerer and larger crown. This gives sharper response and helps reduce flex under braking. Increased head tube dia. gives more weld area at the most highly stressed point.
  • WHEEL SIZE: The small 15.5? size SYNC uses 650b [27.5"] wheels, the medium and large use 29? wheels. This allows smaller riders to maximise on the advantages of larger wheels, without compromising manoeuvrability.
  • DIRECT-MOUNT COMPATIBLE: The investment-cast Ti dropouts on the SYNC frame come as standard with an integrated mech. hanger. If you are running a Shimano ‘Shadow’ mech, then you can upgrade to the optional ‘Direct-Mount’ hanger, lose the ‘B2' link from your mech. and experience super slick shifting! READ MORE HERE. .
  • Ti3AL/2.5V: An aerospace grade alloy, 94% titanium, 3% aluminium and 2.5% vanadium. This is one of the strongest alloys of titanium available in a seamless tube form.
  • CWSR: ‘Cold Worked Stress Relieved’ tubing. The tubing is shaped cold and then goes through a process to remove the stresses built up within the tube during forming.
  • PF30: ‘Press-Fit 30' compatible bottom-bracket shell. This BB standard uses 42mmø bearings, pre-installed in Nylon bearing cups, these cups are then pressed into the frames BB shell. This avoids the ‘metal to metal’ contact of other BB standards. The bearing internal diameter suits cranks with a 30mm axle, but other cranks can be fitted using aftermarket adaptors e.g. Praxis. The ‘PF30' standard also allows the use of ‘eccentric BB adaptors’ if you want to convert to Single-Speed.
  • 142×12 THRU-AXLE: The thru-axle really adds lateral stiffness to the rear of the frame, meaning it responds instantly to rider input and climbs and tracks impeccably.
  • QUADRAD TOP TUBE: The unique profiling to the rear section of the Top-Tube adds strength and stiffness to this highly stressed part of the frame.
  • INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING: The control cables are routed through the Top-Tube, keeping it un-cluttered and making way for clean dropper-post routing.

What Mountain Bike #151 (Summer) - Full review here.
“Despite its come-and-have-a-go-if-you-think-you’re- hard-enough attitude, the Sync doesn’t beat you to a pulp”

"It’s torsionally stiff like a carbon bike, but with a titanium forgiveness that takes the edge off impacts. Comfort is further helped by the thoughtful speccing of a set of carbon bars and a carbon stem.  Is titanium spring and carbon damping the perfect combination? On a hardtail, we really think it is."

"Summary: We like the Sync’s fresh approach, its idiosyncratic blend of new and old ideas. Wheel and frame sizing, fork length and an emphasis on ruthless chassis efficiency all add up to a potent race and trail companion."

Singletrack issue #84
"…taut, pert, hair-spung"

"…soon imparting confidence to really push boundaries."

"Handling through rocky, rooty and twisty trails is superb."

"…speed surge is enough to remind you why hardtails are still alive and kicking."

"Taken from: The dominant ride personality of the SYNC Ti is taut, pert, hair-spung, initially feeling slightly on the nervy edge but very soon imparting confidence to really push boundaries. Handling through rocky, rooty and twisty trails is superb. … when you stamp on the pedals the speed surge is enough to remind you why hardtails, and especially big wheeled hardtails, are still alive and kicking."
