In developing the Tripster ATR v2 they’ve kept all of the best features of the old bike but taken the capability up to a new level. Kinesis enhanced the strength of the bike through a new custom tube set, increasing the gauge on the down tube and flattened off the base of the top tube. They’ve also changed the rear triangle to include a Shimano flat mount tucked out of the way on the chain stay along with through axle compatibility.

The Tripster ATR v2 now features internal routing with brake and shifter cables/hoses inside the frame. This reduces the chance of muck and detritus getting into your cables, helping ensure you have crisp shifting regardless of the conditions. Tyre clearance has been increased to up 45mm tyres (or up to 40mm with mudguards) and it’s also possible to run 650B wheels with 2.0 MTB tyres as well, increasing choice and versatility.

The new Tripster ATR v2 will inspire you and give you the confidence to go the distance on every adventure.

Additional Information:

This high quality, disc brake ready, Titanium frame is built in the same factory as our highly praised Racelight GF_Ti frame.

All internal routing parts, rear through axle and flat mount to post mount adapters included with frame.

Both bearings are ‘ACB’, meaning ‘Angular Contact Bearings’. The head-tube seat angle is 45º. The headset drops into a tapered seat in the head tube and is tensioned using a headset tensioner within the fork steerer. Tensioning the headset centres it on the taper and prevents any play. The larger lower bearing allows a tapered steerer and larger crown. This gives sharper response and helps reduce flex under braking.

Taper Head Tube: Machined from Ti billet. The 1.5? lower bearing allows a tapered fork steerer and larger crown. This gives sharper response and helps reduce flex under braking. Increased head tube dia. gives more weld area at the most highly stressed point.

Ti3AL/2.5V: An aerospace grade alloy, 94% titanium, 3% aluminium and 2.5% vanadium. This is one of the strongest alloys of titanium available in a seamless tube form.

CWSR: ‘Cold Worked Stress Relieved’ tubing. The tubing is shaped cold and then goes through a process to remove the stresses built up within the tube during forming.

‘Anti Road Shock’ Seat Stays: The ‘hourglass’ bend, seat stays are shaped to give maximum comfort for long hours in the saddle.

Shimano Flat Mount: Inboard disc caliper mount keeps the caliper out of the way of racks etc. Post mount 160 adapter included

Switchable Dropouts: 12 x 142mm Through axle supplied, 10 x 135mm QR option

At Triton Cycles we aim to provide a returns service that is simple and hassle-free.

Should you need to return anything to us, it is very important that you telephone us first to advise us of your intention and the reason why you wish to return the goods. If you're not completely satisfied with an item you may return it within 14 days of purchase, and as long as the item isn't fitted or used we're happy to receive it back for a refund or exchange. Return shipping costs in this instance are non-refundable.

If the item is being returned as a result of our error i.e. damaged, defective, wrong item sent etc, we will refund Royal Mail First Class or Standard Parcel postage costs. If this is the case please include a copy of your purchase receipt when you return the goods for inspection. Please DO NOT sign for goods if you think that they are damaged, or the packaging has been tampered with. Instead, refuse to accept the delivery and contact us immediately(within 3 working days) so that we can take the matter up with our courier. Replacements will be sent to you as soon as possible. Signing for goods later found to be unacceptably damaged in transit complicates negotiations with the courier in dealing with your complaint. However, if a minor component is missing or broken(e.g. a reflector) please DO NOT return the whole bike. Simply contact us and we will replace the part as soon as possible. Please DO NOT discard any original packaging until you are fully satisfied with your purchase. Should you need to return a bicycle, couriers will not transport a machine not in the original or suitable packaging. Warranty Claims: All goods purchased from Triton are covered by a full warranty and generally covers manufacturing faults and defects including poor workmanship. If you think your item is faulty and would like to make a warranty claim then please phone/email us before returning any goods - we may be able to solve your problem without you incurring any postage costs.

All purchases and refunds will be processed in Sterling (GBP). We are not liable for any currency fluctuations. Please be aware that this may result in your refund being less or more than what you originally paid in your local currency.
