Built for XXC
The ultimate race bike for the rough and tumble realities of modern XC. This ultralight, super efficient speed machine features unique XC geometry that lets you own the climbs, rule the descents and decimate the competition.

The best climbing, best descending and fastest XC race ever made.

Rider Profile:
World Cup XC racers, marathon racers, and anyone else with dreams of fast-paced XC glory.

Intended Use:

  • XC Race
  • Trail

Rider Position:
Pure Modern XC. Low flat back, centred weight distribution.

Proportional Response - Smart Wheel Sizing:
To ensure their bikes have a consistently high ride quality across all sizes, Cannondale have integrated Proportional Response. The aim is to get the biggest wheel size on the bike without sacrificing performance and ride quality through the different frame sizes, which is why the smaller (usually from Small downwards) frame sizes feature 27.5” wheels while the larger sizes (usually from Medium upwards) feature 29” wheels.

Modern XC Geometry:
Short Chainstays for traction and agility, Slack Head Angle for stability at speed, Tight “Trail” Measurement for nimble handling at slower speeds. Spot on for modern XC.

Ultra Light Weight:
New Lefty Ocho fork, BallisTec Carbon Frame and Zero Pivot stays all add up to not much…weight. Scalpel-Si is the lightest XC on the market.

Integrated Di2 Battery Housing:
Internal Top Tube Di2 Battery holder. Easily accessible. Allows use of stealth dropper post and Di2.

Two Water Bottles:
Hallelujah! Proper marathon hydration, without the pack.

Clean Cable Management:
Interchangeable in-headtube cable guides hold the housing securely and support every possible cable configuration.

Ultralight Carbon Shock Link:
Adding lightness to every model.

Key Features:

  • INSANE TRACTION - WITHOUT COMPROMISE - Proprietary Ai offset drivetrain delivers super short chainstays for climb-winning traction and agile handling, without sacrificing mud/tyre clearance or limiting you to single ring set-ups.
  • XC AGILITY MEETS ALL-MOUNTAIN STABILITY - OutFront Steering Geometry  gives you the best of both worlds: slack and stable on hectic descents, yet quick and nimble everywhere else.
  • THE BEST XC FORK…PERIOD. - Unbelievably smooth and precise, the all-new Lefty Ocho out-corners, out-handles and flat-out rides circles around its XC competition. Its custom extra-long fork offsets (rake) make Cannondale's OutFront Steering Geometry possible.
  • EXPLOSIVE STIFFNESS - Just say no to energy-wasting flex. Scalpel Si is the stiffest XC going, thanks to the evenly dished Ai rear wheel, super short chainstays, LockR locking axles and BallisTec Carbon Construction.

At Triton Cycles we aim to provide a returns service that is simple and hassle-free.

Should you need to return anything to us, it is very important that you telephone us first to advise us of your intention and the reason why you wish to return the goods. If you're not completely satisfied with an item you may return it within 14 days of purchase, and as long as the item isn't fitted or used we're happy to receive it back for a refund or exchange. Return shipping costs in this instance are non-refundable.

If the item is being returned as a result of our error i.e. damaged, defective, wrong item sent etc, we will refund Royal Mail First Class or Standard Parcel postage costs. If this is the case please include a copy of your purchase receipt when you return the goods for inspection. Please DO NOT sign for goods if you think that they are damaged, or the packaging has been tampered with. Instead, refuse to accept the delivery and contact us immediately(within 3 working days) so that we can take the matter up with our courier. Replacements will be sent to you as soon as possible. Signing for goods later found to be unacceptably damaged in transit complicates negotiations with the courier in dealing with your complaint. However, if a minor component is missing or broken(e.g. a reflector) please DO NOT return the whole bike. Simply contact us and we will replace the part as soon as possible. Please DO NOT discard any original packaging until you are fully satisfied with your purchase. Should you need to return a bicycle, couriers will not transport a machine not in the original or suitable packaging. Warranty Claims: All goods purchased from Triton are covered by a full warranty and generally covers manufacturing faults and defects including poor workmanship. If you think your item is faulty and would like to make a warranty claim then please phone/email us before returning any goods - we may be able to solve your problem without you incurring any postage costs.

All purchases and refunds will be processed in Sterling (GBP). We are not liable for any currency fluctuations. Please be aware that this may result in your refund being less or more than what you originally paid in your local currency.
