There's nothing quite like a lightweight hardtail for marathon racing. And there's no marathon race hardtail quite like the brand new Elite. Combining inspirational low weight with efficient rigidity and surprising comfort and resilience, it's the standard by which all other marathon race hardtails are judged.

Cube don't put their Teamline colours on any old bike. It's a good thing, then, that the brand-new Elite C:68X SL Teamline is far from any old bike. With a completely revised frame that's 15% lighter than the one it replaces, Cube’s design team has been putting in the hours to build a marathon-focussed cross-country hardtail worthy of wearing their team livery. Starting with Cube’s next-generation C:68X carbon technology and a blank sheet of paper, they carefully shaved weight where possible while ensuring strength and efficiency weren't sacrificed. So the tapered head tube, carefully profiled down tube and Boost 148 rear end ensure that every watt of your pedalling input is transferred to the rear wheel. In the meantime, slim seat stays and a 27.2mm seat post contribute to a ride that's comfortable for extended periods, aided and abetted by the Fox Float Factory suspension fork. Light, strong Newmen Advanced carbon wheels shod with grippy, fast-rolling Schwalbe tyres give you the control you need in combination with Cube’s tweaked Agile Ride Geometry, and a full complement of Shimano's superb XTR 1x12 components take care of stop-and-go duties with typically reliable alacrity. Ride fast, ride far and ride well. It's what Cube’s team riders do - and you can, too, with this bike.

If there's one thing Cube’s engineers have learnt over the years, it's that you can always squeeze a bit more performance out of a frame. That's why they went back to the drawing board with the Elite. It was already stiff, light, comfortable and agile - but the new one is 15% lighter, designed with even greater comfort in mind, and features revised Agile Ride Geometry designed with marathon riding and endurance cross-country in mind. It's all possible thanks to the combination of Cube’s high-end C:68X carbon and Advanced Twin Mould manufacturing technology, which gives their engineers the ability to add or remove precise quantities of carbon to create the perfect blend of characteristics. Slender seat stays help absorb trail vibration for greater comfort over long distances, while the tapered head tube and Boost axle at the rear help maintain precise steering and incredible pedalling efficiency. There's even provision to upgrade to an internally routed dropper post. Better than before? Definitely. The best out there? Well, Cube think so. But they’ll let you be the judge...

  • In doing so the wheels have constant contact to the ground or lose contact for a split of a moment due to small uneven terrain like roots (-> no jumps, no riding on one wheel neither front or rear, no braking that causes the rear wheel to lift up)
  • Important: Please note that when using kickstands, mudguards, luggage carriers, as well as bicycle trailers the application area of the model always changes to classification category 2.

Bikes - All bikes are checked in our workshop prior to dispatch. Bike orders are typically dispatched within 48 hours of your order. Please note - most bikes are delivered partially assembled - this varies from model to model, please call to confirm what building is required prior to ordering.

Delivery for International Orders - Please note, items sent outside the EU are sold exclusive of VAT but may be subject to import duties and taxes, which may be levied once a shipment reaches your country. For details of current customs charges please contact your local Customs authorities.

RUSSIAN FEDERATION ONLY - We are not allowed to deliver to residential addresses. Russian Customs will reject the parcel and it will be returned to us. Please provide a business delivery address on all orders. We are not able to check the address of every order therefore any orders with a residential address will incur additional delivery charges if it is returned back to us by the Russian Customs.

Courier Selection - Choosing the incorrect shipping option for your country/location may cause delays as we may have to amend the order and apply any additional shipping fees. Any order cancellations due to a refusal to pay the correct shipping fees may incur additional processing charges.

Billing & Delivery Addresses - Please ensure your billing & delivery address is correct when placing your order. We will do our best to ensure that all our customers receive their order but we are not responsible for any mis-delivery if the delivery address is incorrect.

Stock Check - The majority of our products are usually in stock and we try to keep our stock levels as up-to-date and as accurate as possible. However sometimes our system may not be updated in time and a product may be out of stock despite the product page showing it as 'In Stock'. If you are interested in a product and would like to double check the availability of it, please feel free to contact us before placing your order.

Extended Returns Period
For Christmas we have extended our returns period! Any orders dispatched before 19/12/2019 will be eligible for the extended returns period. Customers eligible will be able to return their unwanted orders for an exchange or refund up until 15/01/2020.

At Triton Cycles we aim to provide a returns service that is simple and hassle-free.

Should you need to return anything to us, it is very important that you telephone us first to advise us of your intention and the reason why you wish to return the goods. If you're not completely satisfied with an item you may return it within 14 days of purchase, and as long as the item isn't fitted or used we're happy to receive it back for a refund or exchange. Return shipping costs in this instance are non-refundable.

If the item is being returned as a result of our error i.e. damaged, defective, wrong item sent etc, we will refund Royal Mail First Class or Standard Parcel postage costs. If this is the case please include a copy of your purchase receipt when you return the goods for inspection. Please DO NOT sign for goods if you think that they are damaged, or the packaging has been tampered with. Instead, refuse to accept the delivery and contact us immediately(within 3 working days) so that we can take the matter up with our courier. Replacements will be sent to you as soon as possible. Signing for goods later found to be unacceptably damaged in transit complicates negotiations with the courier in dealing with your complaint. However, if a minor component is missing or broken(e.g. a reflector) please DO NOT return the whole bike. Simply contact us and we will replace the part as soon as possible. Please DO NOT discard any original packaging until you are fully satisfied with your purchase. Should you need to return a bicycle, couriers will not transport a machine not in the original or suitable packaging. Warranty Claims: All goods purchased from Triton are covered by a full warranty and generally covers manufacturing faults and defects including poor workmanship. If you think your item is faulty and would like to make a warranty claim then please phone/email us before returning any goods - we may be able to solve your problem without you incurring any postage costs.
