Rider's Choice
Fast, light, strong: you really can have it all. The Reaction's finely tuned frame combines the low weight, efficiency and responses of a cross-country race bike with the versatility of a trail bike, including Boost rear end and for most of them an easy stealth dropper post upgrade. Bring it on.

Cube wanted to make something a bit special with their Reaction TM. A trail-ready hardtail with a dose of attitude, it's got everything you need to push your trail riding to the next level. With 2.6in tyres and an X-Fusion RC32 fork with thru axle and 130mm of smooth, easily adjusted travel, you can tell right away that this is a bike that's up for a challenge. The frame's built for the job, with a rear thru axle, tapered head tube and complex-profile, hydroformed main frame tubes for exactly the right combination of stiffness, strength and comfort. The Newmen cockpit with 760mm handlebar gives you the confidence and extra control you need on the toughest of trails, while powerful Magura MT Thirty hydraulic disc brakes ensure you can always scrub off speed when you need to. Sram's simple, reliable and extraordinarily wide-ranging 1x12 transmission puts the right gear for any situation within easy reach, and Cube even fitted a dropper post so you're ready for those pulse-quickening line choices. Bring it on, because the Reaction TM is ready. Are you?

The Reaction TM makes use of all Cube’s aluminium frame-building know-how to make a frame that's fast, light and tough as nails. Triple-butted, hydroformed tubes allow their engineering team to finesse weight savings wherever possible, whilst ensuring that the resulting chassis is stiff, strong and built to last. Accurate steering is assured thanks to a combination of the Boost thru axle, complex-profile down tube and tapered head tube - good to know when you're navigating a trail full of boulders at speed. Internal cable routing keeps mud, water and grit out of your gear cables so you can spend your time riding, rather than wrenching. But don't think that this is some kind of uncompromising bruiser - Cube built in all-day ride comfort with deliberately slimmed-down seat stays, specifically so that you can shred till sundown.

Classification:
Category: 3 - Meant for riding on ways like:

  • Tarmac roads and bicycle routes
  • Ways paved by gravel, sand or similar materials (e.g.  re road, dirt road)
  • Paved and non paved hiking trails where roots, thresholds, rocks and drops are more often
  • In doing so the wheels have constant contact to the ground or lose contact for a split of a moment due to small uneven terrain like roots (-> no jumps, no riding on one wheel neither front or rear, no braking that causes the rear wheel to lift up)
  • Important: Please note that when using kickstands, mudguards, luggage carriers, as well as bicycle trailers the application area of the model always changes to classification category 2.

Category 2 - Meant for rides on paved ways like:

  • Tarmac roads and bicycle routes
  • Ways paved by gravel, sand or similar materials (e.g.  re road, dirt road)
  • Paved hiking trails with only few roots, thresholds, rocks and drops
  • In doing so the wheels have constant contact to the ground or lose contact for a split of a moment due to small asperities like roots (-> no jumps, no riding on one wheel neither front nor rear, no braking that causes a lift up of the rear wheel).

At Triton Cycles we aim to provide a returns service that is simple and hassle-free.

Should you need to return anything to us, it is very important that you telephone us first to advise us of your intention and the reason why you wish to return the goods. If you're not completely satisfied with an item you may return it within 14 days of purchase, and as long as the item isn't fitted or used we're happy to receive it back for a refund or exchange. Return shipping costs in this instance are non-refundable.

If the item is being returned as a result of our error i.e. damaged, defective, wrong item sent etc, we will refund Royal Mail First Class or Standard Parcel postage costs. If this is the case please include a copy of your purchase receipt when you return the goods for inspection. Please DO NOT sign for goods if you think that they are damaged, or the packaging has been tampered with. Instead, refuse to accept the delivery and contact us immediately(within 3 working days) so that we can take the matter up with our courier. Replacements will be sent to you as soon as possible. Signing for goods later found to be unacceptably damaged in transit complicates negotiations with the courier in dealing with your complaint. However, if a minor component is missing or broken(e.g. a reflector) please DO NOT return the whole bike. Simply contact us and we will replace the part as soon as possible. Please DO NOT discard any original packaging until you are fully satisfied with your purchase. Should you need to return a bicycle, couriers will not transport a machine not in the original or suitable packaging. Warranty Claims: All goods purchased from Triton are covered by a full warranty and generally covers manufacturing faults and defects including poor workmanship. If you think your item is faulty and would like to make a warranty claim then please phone/email us before returning any goods - we may be able to solve your problem without you incurring any postage costs.

All purchases and refunds will be processed in Sterling (GBP). We are not liable for any currency fluctuations. Please be aware that this may result in your refund being less or more than what you originally paid in your local currency.
