FOR us_ #racers
The brand new Litening re-writes the race bike rule book. Literally. Completely redesigned to be as aerodynamically efficient as possible, it's the secret weapon you need to break free of the peloton and find your place on the podium. Fast, light and as slippery through the air as a hot knife through butter. Break out and win.

At Cube, they never rest on their laurels - and the all-new Litening C:68X Race is proof of that. Completely redesigned from the ground up, it represents Cube’s bid to redefine what's possible from a race bike. Knowing that at speeds above around 15km/h aero efficiency is more important than weight, and building on the knowledge Cube gained from building their world-beating Aerium bikes, they set out to create a frame that's not just efficient... but aero-efficient. Sophisticated Computer Fluid Dynamics analysis, backed up by extensive wind tunnel testing, allowed Cube’s engineers to optimise every single part of the frame to make it as slippery as possible through the air. Cube’s premium, next-generation C:68X carbon gave them the freedom to sculpt, shape and refine their designs until they were completely happy with the performance. And the result? A seamless structure that integrates the chassis, fork, stem, bar and seat post into a frame that's reduced drag by 30%. Make no mistake, this is game-changing territory. Less drafting, more riding at the front - with power to spare to break away. Fully UCI compliant, Cube sweated every detail to help you focus on your performance. The low cross-wind effect, integrated headset, clearance for 28mm tyres and lighter head tube and fork crown are all there to ensure you go faster. With Sram's wireless Force AXS 2x12 transmission, Newmen carbon wheelset and Schwalbe's tubeless-compatible tyres, there's nothing to hold you back. Can you sense a podium position in your sights?

A road race bike needs to be fast. That much is obvious, but how to extract more speed from bike and rider? That was the question Cube’s engineering team asked themselves at the beginning of the design process for the brand-new Litening. And the answer? Make the frame as slippery as possible through the air. It's a familiar concept for time trial and triathlon bikes, but not so much for race machines. The new Litening re-writes the rules by borrowing from Cube’s experience building the standard-setting Aerium C:68. Making extensive use of Computer Fluid Dynamics - backed up with wind tunnel testing at every stage of the design and production process - Cube’s engineers were able to finesse the frame's design to realise a 30% reduction in drag. In the world of marginal gains, that's enough to make this a genuine breakaway machine. The fully UCI-compliant chassis design integrates frame, fork, stem, handlebar and seat post into a structure that's as efficient through the air as possible. Beautifully crafted from Cube’s next generation C:68X carbon, it's even designed to be minimally affected by crosswinds. The integrated headset features an aero top cap and Cube were able to reduce the frontal areas of the head tube and fork crown by using disc brakes. It's also highly configurable to suit every race and rider - internal cable routing for Sram and Shimano electronic gears is standard, as is a removable front derailleur mount, and there are multiple bottle positions available. With clearance for tyres up to 28mm and power meter-ready, it's the speed machine you've been looking for to maximise your chances of success. Don't chance it on race day. Ride the Litening - and just go.

Return shipping costs in this instance are non-refundable.

Signing for goods later found to be unacceptably damaged in transit complicates negotiations with the courier in dealing with your complaint. Please DO NOT discard any original packaging until you are fully satisfied with your purchase.
