Carbon 1-1/8 Inch Integrated Headset
There is more to our carbon headsets than their striking good looks. From top to bottom, Box One™ Carbon Headsets was designed to perform. Each unit features a custom CNC-machined aluminium compression cap in the shape of the Box logo with cut-outs to reduce weight. At the centre of the compression cap is an anodized aluminium bolt that threads into a gold anodized aluminium expander plug. This expander eliminates the need for a star nut and works with all 1-1/8-inch steerer tubes—even carbon fibre steerer tubes. The bearing cover is crafted from carbon fibre, which not only adds style but helps shave weight. And at the heart of the headset are two super-smooth, titanium-nitride coated, sealed, 45×45 bearings. The titanium coating results in a low friction coefficient, increased corrosion resistance, and smoother rolling bearings. A split crown race makes installation and removal from forks super easy.
Quality lightweight MTB/Road threadless "Aheadset" for regular 1 1/8" frames. Slick and smooth sealed Angular Contact Bearings top and bottom.

DCR Integrated Headset New integrated headset for DCR (Deda internal cable routing) system and compatible with Vinci stem. It allows the full integration of the cables through the headset bearing. The DCR system works with a standard tapered fork steerer (1-1/8” – 1.5”), But requires a 52mm (1.5”) upper headset bearing od. The special compression ring design leaves room for the cables to fit the gap in between the headset bearing and the fork. A dedicated topcover for alanera is available as accessory. Tech Specs Headset Model: Integrated 1.5"-1.5" Bearings: Angular contact bearing chrome steel Headtube: 56mm Top Cover: 56mm Crown Race: 39.8mm Alloy Stack Height: 9.6mm Weight: 76g Notes: compatible with 56mm Dia frame headtube designed for 1.5” bearings (upper & lower). Durable sealed bearing headset using the most popular standard for Integrated headsets in BMX at the moment.*Note: Not all threadless headsets are the same! Diatech/Dia Compe is one of the very few companies authorised to use the Dia Compe USA/Cane Creek patented "split compression ring"Whilst this may appear a minor item... it actually has quite a significant effect in use. The split in the compression ring actually allows the ring to "grab" the fork steerer as the ring is compressed by the headset bearing adjustments. The "grabbing" prevents any possibility of "knocking" from play between the fork and the headset. Many other so called Ahead type headsets do not have this patented feature... even though, at first glance they appear to offer much the same performance. IMPORTANT NOTE: There are 3 main standards currently in use for Integrated headsets; They are all similar but NOT cross compatible... therefore check carefully which system your frame is made to accept.
