Halo Vapour GXC Tour 27.5" Disc Wheel

The Vapour GXC Tour wheelset has been crafted for the longest distance loaded touring adventures. Built with a 21mm internal width rim the Vapour GXC Tour wheel is ideal for touring, gravel, road plus and narrower MTB tyres. As well as a lightweight and dependable rim, the Vapour GXC Tour wheels utilise all new GXC hubs, specifically designed for the Vapour GXC wheel range. The GXC hubs feature instantaneous 120 point engagement, centre lock, sealed bearings and wide spaced flanges for increased stiffness and durability. With the increased 36 hole spoke count on these Touring optimised wheels, increased load weights are transferred directly through the wheel as spokes run parallel from one side of the rim, to the other. We have also used non-proprietary J-bend spokes to ensure should the worst happen, you have a great chance of being able to fix your wheel and carry on your adventure. Supplied pre-taped the Vapour GXC Tour wheelset is tubeless ready from the box.

Halo Aerotrack 700c Front Wheel

Tested by the couriers and track riders of the world, Halo’s Track Series has seen some of the hardest testing there is to offer. Rivals, side streets and traffic are no match for Halo’s Track Series. The Aerotrack wheels are as at home on the track as they are on the congested streets.Built with a single coloured*, aerodynamic, 14mm internally and 19.5mm external, wide rim the Aerotrack wheel can take daily abuse without issue due to their sturdy construction. Spinning on Halo’s legendary TK with Japanese sealed bearings, various rear drive options and lightweight drilled axles, the Aerotrack wheels are not only offer longevity, but great value and low weights.*The rim features a CNC machined brake wall before the colour finish is applied. It is possible to brake on this surface, but braking may be impaired by the colour coating, which will also wear away if brake pads are applied.

Halo Caliber 6D 700c Aero Road Rear Wheel

A light and strong, deep aero non-carbon option for T/T use, or a great style statement on any performance road bike. 38mm deep section Aero 700c wheels with new reversed 6-pawl sealed bearing Halo Spin Master 6D hubs (Shimano or Campy compatible options). Halo Aero spokes and alloy nipples with 20H radial front and NEW 16/8E (24E) rear spoke system for improved lateral rigidity. Rear wheels feature the highly unusual 16/8E spoke configuration.16/8E explained:The hub offers an extra wide offset left hand non drive spoke flange (to increase the A-frame type support structure of the spokes to the rim) and counter balances the, common, resulting uneven spoke tension problem by having only 8 spokes on the heavily offset side vs 16 on the almost straight dished drive side. The rim and the hub have been specially drilled to accommodate the 16/8E configuration to result in the spokes being "Evenly" spaced in the rim's circumference. All of the rear spokes are "crossed" to provide a tangential structure to spread the drive torque throughout all of the 24 spokes (rather than having some spokes in a radial configuration that are unable to effectively help transfer torque drive from the hub to the rim).Halo's theory being that if you spread the drive torque over all 24 of the rear spokes (rather than just some of the spokes on the drive side alone), then this further divides it up, and thus reduces the torque transferred to each spoke.
