Highlights Modern trail geometry with long reach, slack head angle and steep seat angle 140 mm RockShox Psylo Silver RC air fork 1 × 10 Shimano CUES drivetrain Powerful SRAM DB4 four-piston hydraulic disc brakes Dropper seat post 29" Boost wheels with 2.5" (front) and 2.4" (rear) tyres Trail-ready hardtail: 29er aluminium hardcore hardtail with RockShox Psylo Silver RC 140 mm air-sprung fork, Shimano CUES 1 × 10 drivetrain and powerful SRAM DB4 four-piston hydraulic disc brakes. The original Big Trail concept was born from UK dealers working with Merida R&D: 140 mm air fork, 29" wheels, single-ring transmission and a dropper post. Now in its 2nd iteration, Big Trail is fun-packed and hugely capable. Progressive geometry pairs a steep 76.5° seat angle with a slack 64.0° head angle for efficient climbing and confident stability when the terrain gets steep or rough. Sizing follows the Agilometer principle so most sizes fit most riders — pick longer for speed and stability, shorter for agility.
