Genesis Croix De Fer 931 Frameset

General Information Dream Build Material. Whilst we're always interested in new developments, fresh thinking and the next wonder material, it's well known that we love steel. Its superb strength-to-weight ratio, exceptional stiffness, and outstanding ride quality make it a timeless choice. This Croix De Fer frameset sees the return of Reynolds 931 stainless steel to the lineup — a superbly stiff material giving a unique spring to your pedal stroke. 931 is also incredibly corrosion resistant. A tapered head tube adds further stiffness to the front end whilst a threaded T47 bottom bracket shell increases surface area, allowing for lighter tubes whilst opening up chainset compatibility. The Croix De Fer 931 frameset is a superb base for a dream gravel build. Beefed Up A tapered head tube with external headset cups stiffens the front end and accepts an Amplitude G200 carbon gravel fork. Maximum tyre size matches the frame at 700 x 47mm. Internal Routing Adaptable internal cable routing allows for a clean and consistent look with a wide variety of drivetrains. Like all Croix De Fers, the 931 frameset is also compatible with dropper seatposts. Big Treads Fit volumous 700 x 47mm tyres to maximise traction and comfort, or opt for a slender 38mm slick for a fast all-road setup. The 931 accommodates a broad range of modern tyres. Precious Metal Very responsive, nearly indestructible, and incredibly beautiful — Reynolds 931 is a seamless, cold-worked stainless steel alloy from Carpenter Technology's custom 630/17-4PH grade. Your Way At Genesis, we all love a custom build. Quirky or otherwise. The Croix De Fer 931 is our hero — the ultimate gravel riding frameset, perfectly balancing ride quality, strength, and stiffness.

Surly Straggler 650b Frameset

The Straggler is tuned for cross-over exploration on a wide variety of terrain conditions. It’s a day-tripper and a weekender. It’s a ‘rough road’ road bike, a cyclocross bike with no pretense about racing, a utilitarian townie, a light-duty touring bike and an all-weather commuter. It’s a steel gravel bicycle that thrives on the road. And when you get tired of one set-up, you can swap parts around and turn it into something else. Think of it as a “mountain biker’s road bike.” If you only have room for one bike in your life, Straggler can (and should) be your one and only. The Straggler’s capabilities go well beyond asphalt. It also lends itself well to light touring setups. We're talking frame bags, seat bags, and "credit card touring” rather than full-blown touring. Straggler also handles our 8- and 24-Pack Racks well, so you have some heavier-duty loading options. The Straggler shares all of the Cross-Check's braze-ons for mudguards, racks and bottle cages, and like the Cross-Check it's ready to take you just about anywhere.  Mudguard eyelets at the dropouts, front and rear rack bosses and dual water bottle mounts, downtube shifter mounts 100% Surly proprietary 4130 chromoly tubing. TIG-welded, double-butted main triangle Forward-exiting horizontal dropouts with adjusters give you singlespeed compatibility and wheelbase adjustability to help you fit the tyres and fenders you want to run with that drivetrain you want to run. The frame is ED Coated for increased life expectancy
