Box Components One Oversized M35 Crankset

All Box One M35 cranksets are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. we all know that there is no use pushing hard on your pedals if you can’t deliver most of that power to the rear wheel. During the creation of our cranks, we were obsessed with Power delivery AKA pedalling stiffness. To reduce lateral deflection at the bottom bracket we chose to enlarge the spindle and the crank arm’s interfaces. We robbed material from unloaded sections to reinforce these zones of high stress. Not only are you going to be more efficient with power delivery, but you’ll also feel the instant response of acceleration. Seen through another lens, less energy will be required to achieve the same elapsed time. The Box One M35 crankset takes the oversized spindle action to an extreme with a colossal 35mm diameter cross-section courtesy of Praxis™. That dimension might seem massive, but we’ve also employed the use of cold-forged 7075 T6 aluminium. That's an alloy that delivers low mass but that also flirts with the toughness of steel. We then grind that spindle with the kind exactitude you’d expect from medical equipment. The very prominent crank arms are hollow-forged with much of the wall thicknesses pushed to high-stress zones. A stabilizer ring acts as an anti-twist brace between spider legs. A precision CNC-machined Chromoly/alloy self-extracting crank bolt system secures the package. Remember, you’ll need a modern frame to cope with this kind of technology.  

Box Components Five Square Taper Crankset

Featuring a JIS square taper standard, oversized bottom bracket interface, which showcases a step-down shape specific to the crank arm-length meeting at the pedal boss. Unlike alternative options, no two lengths are the same. These durable cold-forged cranksets are available in sizes from 135mm through 170mm and employ a 5-bolt 110 BCD chainring pattern. All JIS square taper standard cranks are compatible with all BSA European-style square taper bottom brackets

Box Four Cranks feature steel pedal inserts that require pedal washers and external sealed bearing BSA bottom brackets, and both are provided in the box. Weight Limit: 115kg (253 lbs) with limitations as per Category 2 of EN 16054:2012 Standard

Box Components Oversized M30-M Crankset

All Box One and Two cranksets are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. Seen through another lens, less energy will be required to achieve the same elapsed time. The Box One M30 crankset is just as tyrannical as its big brother the Box One M35. Since it's designed for the smaller rider the now 30mm spindle is as extreme to a smaller rider as the 35mm is to a burly world champion. The crank arms are hollow-forged but reduced in size for their application. It is possible to add too much stiffness that the rider will not feel the benefit. Going beyond that point simply adds material which is surplus weight. We’ve removed the stabiliser rings from the spider and removed unneeded material from its legs. These cranks are engineered for the smaller-sized racer. IMPORTANT NOTES: BB86 frames require Praxis™ part 86-4001B or 86-4001W. BB30/PF30 frames require Praxis™ part 68-4001R or 68-5401R. T47 frames require Praxis™ part 47-0000. Do not use pedal washers when installing pedals onto these cranks. M30-M cranks were designed to be used without pedal washers  

Box Components Two Oversized 30mm Bottom Bracket

Several of the upper-tier Box bottom brackets were engineered using Box Oversized Technology. These were developed in concert with the crank sets. We all know that there is no use pushing hard on your pedals if you can’t deliver most of that power to the rear wheel. During the creation of our bottom brackets, Box were obsessed with Power delivery/pedalling stiffness. To reduce lateral deflection, we chose to oversize the bottom bracket and therefore subsequently enlarged the spindle and the crank arm’s interfaces. This made room for larger bearing rings contributing to a vast increase in contact area. Box removed material from unloaded sections to reinforce the zones of high stress. Not only are you going to be more efficient with power delivery, but you’ll also feel the instant response of acceleration. Seen through another lens, less energy will be required to achieve the same elapsed time.   Key differences: The Box Two M30 bottom bracket is a slightly less acute embodiment of our Oversized technology seen in the M35. Generously sized ABEC-5 bearings help reduce power loss to defection. The larger 30mm cross section is designed to mate up with the rest of the M30 line of Oversized cranksets.

Box Two™ Square Taper Chromoly Bottom Brackets are the best option for young BMX racers and other users of three-piece cranks in search of an affordable, high-performance square taper bottom bracket. Each bottom bracket is hand-assembled with a Chromoly spindle, sealed bearings, forged and CNC-machined alloy cups, and a composite centre spacer/seal.

Box Components One Bottom Bracket Square Taper Titanium/Carbon

With precision sealed bearings and cold-forged, aluminium CNC machined cups, the Box One™ Titanium Square Taper bottom brackets are the best option for young BMX racers and other users. It is a three-piece crank in search of performance gains and weight savings. They have hollow, custom titanium-nitride-coated titanium spindles and carbon fibre centre seals, helping keep the weight down between 185 and 190 grams (well below that of other square taper bottom brackets on the market).
