Surly ExtraTerrestrial Tyre 700c

The ExtraTerrestrial is a 700c tyre with a very directional tread that offers a great balance between decreased rolling resistance and reliable traction. It shines on hardpack surfaces giving you plenty of traction in corners and on off camber stuff. The ET would be at home doing a long distance tour in S. America, or a pedal from S. Minneapolis through the River Bottoms.   We found it to be a good commuter tyre as well, especially if your commute takes you on mixed surfaces.

Surly Dirt Wizard 29 Tyre

Off Road 29 x 2.6" Mountain Bike tyres that are well suited to difficult UK conditions. The Surly Dirt Wizard is highly focused - one might even say spellbound – on providing traction and control on the kinds of surfaces where neither traction nor control are to be found. Its tread is composed of a dual row of aggressive, trail-gobbling, bevelled knobs in the centre and well-spaced, siped knobs to dig into loose corners. Designed to work on wider rims, Dirt Wizards are tall and wide, providing next-level traction and cushioning. The casings are flexible and responsive, yet durable and supportive. Minimum rim size for these naughty little wizards is a 35mm outer rim width. And if those black sidewalls aren't mesmerizing enough, we've made a grey sidewall option you can summon up. Surly Dirt Wizard tyres are also available in 27.5 x 2.8" size, search: Dirt Wizard 27.5 Tyre Or also in 'Plus' (3") sizes 27.5 x 3" and 29 x 3" Search: Dirt Wizard 27.5 Plus Tyre or Dirt Wizard 29 plus Tyre for more information.

Surly Disc Trucker 26" Touring Bike

Disc Trucker enjoys the same reputation as Long Haul Trucker: It’s one of the best-riding and most value-packed drop bar touring bikes out there. Sometimes, however, a combination of load, climate, and terrain demands a bit more braking performance than a standard rim-brake LHT can provide. That’s where the newly redesigned Disc Trucker comes in. Packing reliable stopping power and a horde of useful mounting points, shortened chainstays up the Disc Trucker’s stiffness and maneuverability around corners. Add in improved fit and handling under load, plus captured thru-axles for tool-free removal and installation, and the Disc Trucker is ready to help you meet — or dodge — your daily obligations. Dynamo routing on the fork, plus three-pack mounts on the blade and every braze-on you’ll ever need for racks, mudguards, water bottle cages, and more 12mm thru-axles for a stiffer feel and increased stability when fully loaded Shortened seat tube and slightly sloped top tube for improved stand-over clearance, plus increased stack height for a more upright and comfortable riding position on those long hauls Spec’d with the Truck Stop Bar and tubeless ExtraTerrestrial tyres for dependable handling and traction Flat-mount disc brakes Frame sizes 42–56cm are available with 26” diameter wheels, while frame sizes 56–64cm are available with 700c diameter wheels Clearance for 26” x 2.1” tyres with or without mudguards, or 700c x 47mm with or without mudguards

Surly Ice Cream Truck Frameset - Ex Display

The Ice Cream Truck has the ability to float over pretty much anything you'll find out there be it snow, rocks, mud, sand, or rocky mud. But unlike Surlys other, more terrain crawling fat bike models, the Ice Cream Truck's geometry is trail approved and ready to rip.The Ice Cream Truck is made out of Surlys own proprietary 4130 CroMoly steel and is ED coated. ED coating is a process that leaves a coating that externally provides a solid foundation for paint while also providing an added layer of corrosion protection internally, however, they still recommend an additional treatment such as Frame Saver or Boeshield. Ice Cream Truck begins to differ from all of Surlys other fat bike models from there. The Ice Cream Truck frame is symmetrically spaced at 190mm. It features Surlys MDS dropout system so you have the option of running a 197mm thru-axle, 190mm geared or a single speed rear end. It also features a 132mm wide PressFit 41 bottom bracket. Giving the Ice Cream Truck a PF41 bottom bracket allowed them to move the stays out and create a much stiffer rear end. The frame is spec'd with a 44mm headtube to give you options in the fork department and comes with a suspension corrected straight blade fork with dropouts spaced at 150mm with a 15mm thru-axle.When Surly designed the Ice Cream Truck they borrowed elements from the Krampus and Instigator geometries to make this bike feel frisky and limber. The complete build rounds out this bike as an aggressive trail bomber. And with 4.8" tyres on 100mm rims you have the option of going through instead of around anything in your path.
