Hex Lab Titanium Lock Rings are designed for racers who are after the best of the best. We focus on the cog to lock ring interface as we follow the load paths down the hubs and cogs. With a large surface area on the lock ring flange keeping the cog properly tightened, you can be sure that all of the power you put through the pedals is keeping you at the front of the pack. When combined with stealth hubs and titanium cogs, you’ll experience increased speed and obtain complete control of your ride. Key differences: We have focused on making sure the titanium lock ring excels where it counts, less weight and increased durability. Its design has been upgraded with new tooling to allow more straightforward installation and strengthened material to avoid stripping. Ideal for those who don’t want to compromise on user experience to gain more control. These lock rings are engineered for all single speed bikes.

Box Components One Oversized V-Brake 85mm

The Box One V-Brake are the only brakes in the Box line-up to be blessed with Oversized Technology. They are also the only model to use sealed precision bearings to further reduce non-rotational movement. The 108mm long-reach brakes are excellent for BMX, mountain, city, urban and tandem bicycles using linear-pull-compatible levers. The 85-mm short-reach (mini-V) brakes are also an excellent choice for cyclocross or drop-bar gravel bikes. Box has limited the use of our Oversized Technology to the V area since the levers need to be minimalist and largely act as a remote for the V-Brakes. To reduce lateral deflection at the V we chose to enlarge the pivot areas and arms while tightening tolerances at their interfaces. Box have robbed material from unloaded sections to reinforce these zones of high stress. Not only are you going to be more efficient with brake power delivery, but you’ll also feel the instant response of deceleration.

Box Components Three Prime 9 Shifter

The Box Three shifter makes good use of nylon composites in both top and bottom shells as well as the levers. Box Three is our performance and value tier. So this shifter sheds all the fancy trappings of the top 2 tiers but maintains their shifting characteristics. All Prime 9 shifters take advantage of the 9-speed's inherent durability, simplicity, and reliability. Not only is the shifter mechanism joyfully simplified, but fewer shifts are needed for every mile of travel. And the best part is? Prime 9 is also terribly forgiving so you won't have to constantly adjust your set-up. Available as a multi-shift (pull several gears at once) or single-shift shifter (a sound choice for e-bikes).

Box Components Two Prime 9 Shifter

The Box Two shifter is the only shifter on the market (other than our Box One) that comes factory stock with a hinged clamp. Box Two is our performance tier so this shifter still maintains the durable cast aluminium top shell but trades out the Box One's 1-piece pull-lever for a 2-piece resin and steel variant.

The Box One multi-shifter is the only shifter on the market that comes factory stock with a hinged (and machined) clamp. It's top of the line and comes packed with other features such as a durable cast aluminium pull lever and top shell.

Our Box Four tier is for those people who just want less fuss! You're fond of Prime 9, but know 8 is enough, and surely 11-42T is plenty of range for an 8-speed cassette. Our derailleur still has the Limited Slip clutch but now arrives with a more compact cage.
