Box Components Two Alloy Linear Cable

Box Two Linear Cable Want the best combination of braking power and cable strength? Box Two™ Linear Brake Cable Kits start with custom housing that includes stainless steel mesh-wrapped linear wires. The inner cable wires are stainless steel, so they won’t rust over time. Each cable kit includes 63 inches of Linear housing, a BMX-race-specific stainless steel cable wire, two black brass ferrules, and two black alloy cable end caps.

Box Components Alloy Linear Cable

Box One Linear Brake Cable Kits are among the most advanced BMX brake cables on the market. The custom Concentric housing includes aramid fibre-wrapped aluminium/steel linear wires for the best combination of strength and low weight. The inner Nano Cable wires are treated with a PTFE coating that reduces friction and boosts braking performance. Our anodized aluminium Kollars™ ferrules further reduce cable drag. Each cable kit includes 79 inches of Concentric Linear housing, a black PTFE-coated Nano Cable, four alloy Kollars™ ferrules and one colour-matched and one black alloy cable end cap.

Box Components One Carbon Brake Pads

Box One 70mm Carbon Brake Pads were formulated with a special compound compatible with carbon fibre rims. This helps keep the heat down while still creating high-performance stopping power. Paired with our Box One Brake Pad Cartridge Body so you can pull them out of the bike and put them right on the bike!

Box Components Three V-Point Short Reach Brake Lever

Box Three™ V-Point Brake Levers are the most versatile levers in the entire Box family. Available in either short or long reach versions, Box Three Levers are reversible, allowing users to 'flip' the lever for use on either side of the handlebar. Other features include reaching adjustment for accurate positioning and a barrel adjuster to fine-tune cable tension.

Box Components Three V-Point Long Reach Brake Lever

Box Components One Oversized V-Brake 85mm

The Box One V-Brake are the only brakes in the Box line-up to be blessed with Oversized Technology. They are also the only model to use sealed precision bearings to further reduce non-rotational movement. The 108mm long-reach brakes are excellent for BMX, mountain, city, urban and tandem bicycles using linear-pull-compatible levers. The 85-mm short-reach (mini-V) brakes are also an excellent choice for cyclocross or drop-bar gravel bikes. Box has limited the use of our Oversized Technology to the V area since the levers need to be minimalist and largely act as a remote for the V-Brakes. To reduce lateral deflection at the V we chose to enlarge the pivot areas and arms while tightening tolerances at their interfaces. Box have robbed material from unloaded sections to reinforce these zones of high stress. Not only are you going to be more efficient with brake power delivery, but you’ll also feel the instant response of deceleration.
