The Box One Stealth Expert Rear Hub is designed to be lightweight for smaller riders and features small hub flanges, lower spoke counts and decreased material to keep the weight down. Featuring our Stealth Technology adds instant engagement and silent low-drag coasting making it ideal for Mini, Junior, or Expert wheel build. Still, it may also accommodate a lightweight rider looking to move up to a pro-sized bike.

Box Components 22.2 X 1-1/8" Centre Clamp Stem

Box Two Centre clamp Hollow stems are cold forged from the highest quality 6061-T6 aluminium available. Featuring an open skeletal design and a dual mid-bolt wedge mounting system, they are lightweight yet maintain a very high level of strength. A 53mm extension stem weighs just 218 grams/7.7 ounces. By removing the rear pinch bolts and moving the mounting bolts to the middle of the stem, we reduced the weight and size and eliminated a serious hazard to the rider’s knees.  These stems come with either a 48 or 53mm extension and a 22.2mm bar bore. To ensure proper clamping force, the stem must be mounted on a fork with at least 45mm of exposed steerer tube. This stem can be installed either side up to give a 5-degree rise or drop. Note: Not compatible with forks that have carbon fibre steerer tubes

Box One™ Chain Tensioners are extruded then CNC-machined from 7075 aluminum for an optimal balance of strength and weight. A minimalist design adds style while reducing their overall mass. Laser-etched graphics include wheel position guides and two 10mm mounting holes with 15mm of adjustment to ensure perfect adjustability. Fits most frames every time you remove and replace your wheel. When used correctly, Box One tensioners will protect your frame dropouts and hold your rear wheel in place. Keep in mind. However, they aren’t indestructible (neither are your dropouts). Box Components Two Oversized 30mm Bottom Bracket

Several of the upper-tier Box bottom brackets were engineered using Box Oversized Technology. These were developed in concert with the crank sets. We all know that there is no use pushing hard on your pedals if you can’t deliver most of that power to the rear wheel. During the creation of our bottom brackets, Box were obsessed with Power delivery/pedalling stiffness. To reduce lateral deflection, we chose to oversize the bottom bracket and therefore subsequently enlarged the spindle and the crank arm’s interfaces. This made room for larger bearing rings contributing to a vast increase in contact area. Box removed material from unloaded sections to reinforce the zones of high stress. Not only are you going to be more efficient with power delivery, but you’ll also feel the instant response of acceleration. Seen through another lens, less energy will be required to achieve the same elapsed time.   Key differences: The Box Two M30 bottom bracket is a slightly less acute embodiment of our Oversized technology seen in the M35. Generously sized ABEC-5 bearings help reduce power loss to defection. The larger 30mm cross section is designed to mate up with the rest of the M30 line of Oversized cranksets.
