Nukeproof from Triton Cycles

General Information From concept through to design, the kinematics, the geometry and specification; the Reactor is designed from the ground up to be the ultimate aggressive trail bike. It is at home on technical climbs, but happiest when thrashing the most technical trails you can point it at. The Reactor frame is crafted from hydroformed triple butted 6061 aluminum. To reduce unsprung mass the seatstays on the Reactor are molded from carbon fibre. All frames are available for 27.5” or 29” wheel sizes. All frames feature a flip chip to adjust the geometry from a trail to a rail setting. The Reactor is designed to reward the rider and ensure you get that stoke factor in on any ride. Advanced 4-bar Horst linkage for exceptional suspension dynamics Using a 4-bar Horst linkage, the Reactor is tuned for exceptional suspension dynamics. It boasts high anti-squat in climbing gears for pedaling efficiency and reduced anti-squat at higher speeds to stay active and plush. A progressive suspension rate ensures small bump sensitivity, mid-stroke support for cornering and pumping, and a controlled end stroke for bigger hits. Balanced anti-rise allows the bike to remain composed under braking, maintaining grip and rider stability. Aggressive trail geometry From the initial concept to final design, the Reactor was developed as the ultimate aggressive trail bike. Whether tackling steep, technical climbs or charging down rough descents, the geometry and kinematics are tuned to deliver a bike that excels in both uphill efficiency and downhill control. Its trail-shredding DNA is baked into every detail, rewarding riders who want a playful yet capable all-rounder.

Nukeproof Reactor 290 CRB Pro 29 T-GX Trail Mountain Bike 2026

General Information The Nukeproof Reactor 290 Carbon is the ultimate aggressive trail bike – a finely tuned balance of climbing efficiency and downhill control. Built for riders who want one bike that can truly do it all, the Reactor thrives on technical climbs, twisty singletrack, and fast, rough descents. Constructed from UD woven carbon fibre, including both the chain and seat stays, the Reactor Carbon delivers an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio, combining razor-sharp responsiveness with trail-smoothing compliance. Its geometry and kinematics have been refined for long days in the saddle – this is a bike built for the big mountain days where a 1000m climb is rewarded with a 1000m descent. The four-bar Horst Link suspension system gives the Reactor its trademark mix of playfulness and control. It offers mid-stroke support when climbing, balanced anti-squat for pedalling efficiency, and supple small-bump compliance for traction. A flip chip allows riders to switch between two geometry modes – Trail for balanced all-round riding, or Rail for more aggressive descending, lowering the bottom bracket and slackening the head angle for extra stability. With perfectly balanced anti-rise characteristics, the Reactor maintains grip and rider stability even under hard braking, allowing the suspension to remain active when it matters most. Whether you’re carving through corners or charging descents, it’s composed, confidence-inspiring, and wickedly fast. Finished with SRAM’s GX Transmission drivetrain, RockShox Lyrik Select+ suspension, and SRAM Maven 4-piston brakes, this latest generation Reactor Carbon delivers all-round trail performance that’s both technically advanced and trail-proven.
