The new DMR Sidekick 20 is the perfect bike for developing trail skills. It's a step above your average kids’ bike in every way. The geometry is designed to help riders progress and learn to ride out of the saddle for off-road riding on more challenging terrain, whether it's the local BMX track, pump track, the trails, or dirt jump spot. The DMR Sidekick Ride can handle it all. The DMR Sidekick Ride frame and fork are made from premium quality, lightweight, and tough aluminium – the same as our pro dirt jump bikes. Just like the big bikes, we've paid close attention to the geometry details. A longer rear end helps with stability at speed, and the perfect head angle and fork design create confidence-inspiring steering for when your young rider knows exactly where they want to go (also comes in handy for when they don’t). It's simple to ride, easy to love, and fun from the get-go.. This bike features 20” wheels front and rear for balanced and stable handling – this set-up encourages the rider to shift their weight and control the bike whilst standing on the pedals – it’s light, agile and tough. The powerful hydraulic disc brakes and chunky 20-inch knobbly tyres give loads of confidence-inspiring grip and control. The smaller pedals, shorter cranks, simple gearing and overall set-up has been designed to be perfectly in proportion with the riders who are going to love riding this bike; smaller diameter handlebars and grips really show that we’ve thought of everything. Now you have mastered the basics we’re ready to really ride and get going out of the saddle. Features Lightweight Aluminium frame and forks. Low stand-over and long wheelbase with 29 mm bottom bracket drop. Junior-specific Tektro Hydraulic disc brakes, with smaller brake levers. Short cranks, junior sized platform pedals. DMR DeathGrip2 Flangeless Grips

The original. Just better. We took everything we learned from making and riding the original Deathgrip and created the Deathgrip2. Having spent years refining grip design with Brendan Fairclough, Olly Wilkins and the DMR Team, along with riders from around the world at all levels, we knew we were on to a winning formula. We kept the features that riders know and love, and added some fundamental improvements along the way. The DMR Deathgrip2 features the grip pattern and layout that inspired a whole generation of mountain bike grips – it starts with a soft mushroom section for comfort in the thumb and forefinger area, preventing blisters in a soft-tissue zone. Next, the grip pattern features diamond knurl for grip in all conditions and all terrains – and the waffle layout underside holds your fingers in the perfect position for grip and control. A tapered core means the Deathgrip is firmly mounted onto your handlebars with ease and the use of just one lockring keeps things simple and tight. The krayton rubber grip compounds we use are soft and comfortable, yet durable and lightweight. Select thin or thick diameters, and with or without flanges – the choice is yours. We took these winning features of the Deathgrip, and then added: An exposed core end for added durability for when the going gets rough. A new injection-molded DMR end cap for added branding and colour coordination. The DMR collar lockring is now slimmer, more refined, and more integrated with the grip outer. The flanges are now slimmer with a new relief design and fresh DMR logo. Millimetre-perfect positioning of mushroom, waffle, and knurl for the ultimate grip pattern. Features TAPERED CORE – No need for outer lockring, with a secure hold. WAFFLE – For comfortable finger placement and confident grip. KNURL – For all over grip in all conditions. MUSHROOM – For comfort in thumb and forefinger area. TWO THICKNESS OPTIONS – Choose either 31.3mm or 29.8mm. FLANGE OR FLANGELESS – For your preferred grip setup. The V6 Pedals have the same concave footprint and narrow profile that DMR Pedals are known for, with a large contact platform and moulded pins providing perfect grip in all Mountain Bike and Trail conditions and any Dirt Jump or Street scenes.
