Halo Devaura Disc RD2 700c Road Wheel

The Devaura Series is ready whatever the conditions, to offer you the aerodynamic advantage. Bbrand new Devaura Disc RD2 wheels utilise Center Lock disc brake technology, allowing consistently powerful braking on the road and CX courses alike. The 19mm internal, 24mm external rim widths allow you to run your choice of traditional or tubeless tyres and are well suited to modern tyres ranging from 25C through to 38C widths to deliver enhanced comfort and grip. At the core of Devaura Disc RD2 wheels are all new 120 point pick up RD2 Supadrive and RD2 Front hubs, with sealed bearings and wide spaced flanges for increased durability. These are hand built onto the dependable 30mm deep rims with very own Aero Racing bladed spokes to decrease wind resistance. Both front and rear wheels use a 16/8e lacing pattern to balance spoke tensions and withstand torque and braking forces from centre of the wheels, reducing any possible lateral flex and increase power transfer. Supplied pre-taped, Devaura Disc RD2 wheels are tubeless ready from the box. Frame & fork compatibility:     Front: 100 x 12mm thru axle system (100 x QR5/9mm available aftermarket; see Halo RD2 front hub for more info)     Rear: 142 x 12mm thru axle system (135 x QR5/10mm available aftermarket; see Halo RD2 rear hub for more info)

Halo Double Fix-G Track Hub

An ever present headache with "normal fixed hubs" is the assembly of a drive cog that is attached by a thread being pulled in both directions by the pedal torque. Of course, the traditional solution to avoiding the cog unwinding itself from the hub in the reverse direction is a left hand threaded lockring, butted up tight against the cog. But, as many riders have found out, this historic system can be relatively volatile.Halo thought... there has to be a better way: A splined hub body (with cogs that slide on) and an independent lockring... that never has to handle rotational forces from the drive."Halo's HG spline system is so obvious and brilliant that other brands must be kicking themselves for not thinking of it first: it can't slip or thread; it's way easier to fit/swap and will take down to 12t cogs, it's genius". - Ty at the Footdown (www.thefootdown.co.uk). Oct 2011 "The Fix-g hub is great! it runs smoothly as the previous Halo hub but the fact that you can move the sprocket for a perfect chainline is great and you can feel the difference straight away. Also, it's really easy to do, everyone can do it without a mechanic's help, I think you should advertise this and make it clear for everyone, people don't have to be scared of a new technology..." Ivan Fiorilla... 5th Floor riding club - London. The5thfloor.co.uk

Halo Hex Key Skewers

Anodised Alloy end cover and nut with Cr-Mo threaded rod using an Allen type Hex key fitting. Lightweight, sleek and an ideal upgrade for improved security - as there's no QR lever. The "Nut" features a steel Halo "no-turn tab", making doing up these Skewers and releasing them a lot easier than trying to hold the nut from spinning at the time. (15x3mm cone spanner recess cut into nut, just in case the tab cannot operate).

The usual solution to avoiding the sprocket unwinding itself from the hub is a left-hand threaded lock-ring, butted up tight against the sprocket. But, as many riders have found out, this system can be quite volatile.Halo thought, there has to be a better way... and the solution - an HG splined hub body, with sprockets that slide on and an independent lockring that never has to handle rotational forces from the drive.Halo Fix-G advantages: Easy and secure fixing and servicing. Adjustable chainline - 41 to 52mm. Accepts 12 - 20T sprockets. No need for chainwhip tools.

Halo Caliber 700c Road Rim

Halo's deepest-section rim so far. 38mm Deep Aero 700c rims.   16/8E explained: The hub offers an extra wide offset left hand non drive spoke flange (to increase the A-frame type support structure of the spokes to the rim) and counter balances the, common, resulting uneven spoke tension problem by having only 8 spokes on the heavily offset side vs 16 on the almost straight dished drive side. The rim and the hub have been specially drilled to accommodate the 16/8E configuration to result in the spokes being "Evenly" spaced in the rim's circumference. All of the rear spokes are "crossed" to provide a tangential structure to spread the drive torque throughout all of the 24 spok es (rather than having some spokes in a radial configuration that are unable to effectively help transfer torque drive from the hub to the rim). Halo's theory being that if you spread the drive torque over all 24 of the rear spokes (rather than just some of the spokes on the drive side alone), then this further divides it up, and thus reduces the torque transferred to each spoke.

Halo MXR Supadrive Rear Hub

Halo DJD Supa Drive SS Rear Hub

If dirt jumping is your thing, then so are our DJ series of hubs. After years of the highest profile testing from our world famous dirt jump team, our current range of DJ hubs are our best yet. Huge strength to weight ratios sets our DJ series apart from the crowd. Our DJD Supadrive hub offers a 120 point near instant engagement, with the ability to withstand substantial torque loads. Supadrive is our most advanced and reliable drive system to date. The DJD Supadrive hub is built around a bushed driver which reduces weight and improves durability over cartridge bearings especially when using compact cog sizes. Wide spoke flanges helps the DJD Supadrive hub build into uncompromisingly stiff wheel, whilst sealed bearings help ensure longevity. Features Hollow alloy axle with 6mm central hex to remove bolt in fixings without the axle spinning. Cr-Mo M10 Bolt-in fixings. 14mm adaptors included: the large surface faces of the cones allow us to also use 10-14mm adaptor washers, making this hub suitable for 10mm or 14mm dropouts. 2 sealed main body bearings and 1 hardened DU driver bush. 9,10,11,13,14,16 tooth sprockets also available.

Halo Caliber 6D 700c Aero Road Rear Wheel

A light and strong, deep aero non-carbon option for T/T use, or a great style statement on any performance road bike. 38mm deep section Aero 700c wheels with new reversed 6-pawl sealed bearing Halo Spin Master 6D hubs (Shimano or Campy compatible options). Halo Aero spokes and alloy nipples with 20H radial front and NEW 16/8E (24E) rear spoke system for improved lateral rigidity. Rear wheels feature the highly unusual 16/8E spoke configuration.16/8E explained:The hub offers an extra wide offset left hand non drive spoke flange (to increase the A-frame type support structure of the spokes to the rim) and counter balances the, common, resulting uneven spoke tension problem by having only 8 spokes on the heavily offset side vs 16 on the almost straight dished drive side. The rim and the hub have been specially drilled to accommodate the 16/8E configuration to result in the spokes being "Evenly" spaced in the rim's circumference. All of the rear spokes are "crossed" to provide a tangential structure to spread the drive torque throughout all of the 24 spokes (rather than having some spokes in a radial configuration that are unable to effectively help transfer torque drive from the hub to the rim).Halo's theory being that if you spread the drive torque over all 24 of the rear spokes (rather than just some of the spokes on the drive side alone), then this further divides it up, and thus reduces the torque transferred to each spoke.
