Rostra Caliper Centaur Bike The new Rostra Caliper is the evolution of Tifosi's ever popular CK7. It is the perfect aluminium all-season bike that is capable of handling year round British weather, long commutes and fun weekend rides. A Lightweight 6061 T6 aluminium frame ensures excellent ride characteristics and durability alongside comfort-oriented geometry, while the unidirectional fork with 1-1/8" to 1-1/2" tapered carbon steerer gives precise steering but with the additional comfort that carbon fork blades give. The X44 headtube works with most modern tapered forks and aids handling, future-proofing the bike for years to come. Disc fitment is flat mount standard for hydraulic or mechanical and 12mm thru-axles keep everything stiff and secure. Without mudguards the bike can take up to 38mm tyres, when fitted, tyre clearance allows for up to 35mm. The Rostra Caliper also has additional mounts for pannier racks if required. Oversized clearances and spaces, grants the compatibility with knobby tyres up to 40mm, able to face the most demanding off-road conditions. If used in wet conditions, adventurers and commuters can benefit of Futura’s capability to host mudguards, thanks to its integrated hidden eyelets, maintaining enough clearance to roll up to 35mm tyres even while using mudguards. Whether on-road or off-road, dry or wet, disc brake guarantees performance and reliability: designed around the latest flat-mount & thru-axle standards, Futura Gravel grants the possibility to host up to 160mm rotors, for a very powerful braking experience. The tapered 1-1/4” steerer optimises riding stability, matching the benefits of oversized lightweight sections to the capability to absorb and map even the most impervious trails, while, in terms of aesthetic, matches perfectly both the carbon-fibre as well as steel, alu and titanium frames, with standard or oversized tubes and dimensions. Finally, the 380mm axle-to-crown fork height, ensures a lower centre of gravity, enhancing stability and proportions on a wider range of frame sizes and geometries.
