Tifosi Rostra Caliper Centaur Bike

Rostra Caliper Centaur Bike The new Rostra Caliper is the evolution of Tifosi's ever popular CK7. It is the perfect aluminium all-season bike that is capable of handling year round British weather, long commutes and fun weekend rides. A Lightweight 6061 T6 aluminium frame ensures excellent ride characteristics and durability alongside comfort-oriented geometry, while the unidirectional fork with 1-1/8" to 1-1/2" tapered carbon steerer gives precise steering but with the additional comfort that carbon fork blades give. The X44 headtube works with most modern tapered forks and aids handling, future-proofing the bike for years to come. Disc fitment is flat mount standard for hydraulic or mechanical and 12mm thru-axles keep everything stiff and secure. Without mudguards the bike can take up to 38mm tyres, when fitted, tyre clearance allows for up to 35mm. The Rostra Caliper also has additional mounts for pannier racks if required. Designed and assembled in the UK.

Deda Elementi Superzero Gravel Carbon Bar

Superzero Gravel Carbon Bars Superzero Gravel is the new aero handlebar designed especially for racing. Engineered for speed this gravel bar offers greater control and stability compared to a standard road bar. The bar has a wide profile with drops that flare outward by 16 degrees, offering you all the precise control you’ll need even on challenging terrain. The reach and drop of the Superzero Gravel handlebar have been optimised with Deda’s EOS-SPEED (Endurance Optimised) shape, for a unique riding experience. The 60mm reach allows you to be closer to the brake levers while riding, while the 110mm compact drop offers more comfort and a super-fast transition from the tops to the drops. This handlebar is for riders wanting to go from tarmac to dirt without compromise. The DCR (Deda internal cable routing) system allows the full integration of the cables inside the handlebar with any compatible frame, additionally, it is also compatible with a semi-internal cable routing because of its large central exist hole. The Superzero Gravel handlebar is available in 3 sizes, from 42cm to 46cm measured outside to outside.

Columbus Futura Caliper 1 1/2 Tapered Fork

Road-race. Specific. Performance. Futura Caliper is the most updated creation of Columbus Carbon Lab department for the lovers of the traditional caliper-brake. The all-new Futura range completes its offer with an exclusive fork, designed for the rider, starting from bike-geometry and biomechanics requirements and needs. In fact, Futura Caliper is the only oversize 1-1/2” tapered fork with multiple-rake: 45 and 50mm options allow the cyclist, and even before him, the frame builder, to properly complete their bicycles with the proper geometry and solutions, according to body requirements, sizes and riding style. Realised using ultra-light aerospace carbon fibre, Futura Caliper offers an extremely sharp riding experience thanks to its oversized sections and shapes, designed for an overall weight-reduction of the structure, enhancing its stiffness and precision while cornering. The streamlined tapered front section, together with the curvilinear geometry of the blades, minimise aerodynamic resistance, granting a good vibration-dumping attitude, where, the overall aesthetic result, enhance Futura Caliper capability to perfectly match and complete the most updated carbon fibre frames as well as the new-generation hi-performance steel, alu and titanium designs.

On-Road, Off-Road, All-Roads!Futura Gravel is the newest solution to the growing hybridisation of road race and outdoor worlds, merging urban with nature, for all those cyclists in search or an all-round fork strongly declinable in contexts and uses. From white roads to single-tracks, from unpaved paths to cityscapes, Futura Gravel allows a very wide range of possible uses, thanks to its specific geometries and features. Oversized clearances and spaces, grants the compatibility with knobby tyres up to 40mm, able to face the most demanding off-road conditions. If used in wet conditions, adventurers and commuters can benefit of Futura’s capability to host mudguards, thanks to its integrated hidden eyelets, maintaining enough clearance to roll up to 35mm tyres even while using mudguards. Whether on-road or off-road, dry or wet, disc brake guarantees performance and reliability: designed around the latest flat-mount & thru-axle standards, Futura Gravel grants the possibility to host up to 160mm rotors, for a very powerful braking experience. The tapered 1-1/4” steerer optimises riding stability, matching the benefits of oversized lightweight sections to the capability to absorb and map even the most impervious trails, while, in terms of aesthetic, matches perfectly both the carbon-fibre as well as steel, alu and titanium frames, with standard or oversized tubes and dimensions. Finally, the 380mm axle-to-crown fork height, ensures a lower centre of gravity, enhancing stability and proportions on a wider range of frame sizes and geometries.

Surly Ultra New 100mm Front Hub

Ultra New hubs look much like their predecessors. In fact, the hub shells have not changed at all. They remain 6061 T6 forged and machined aluminium alloy with medium-height flanges. What's Ultra New about these hubs are their guts.Ultra New hubs use hollow axles of our own design mated to threading wheel fixing bolts, as opposed to the nutted axles of our previous hubs. Hollow axles make conversion to quick release super easy (remove bolts, insert QR skewer, install wheel into frame or fork, ride). All Ultra New hubs come with fixing bolts, but all are QR compatible without axle conversion or any other extra crap. Neato. The axles are made of CroMoly steel, while the fixing bolts are 10.9 stainless steel (i.e. high grade) for corrosion resistance, high strength, and good looks, and the bolts tighten and loosen with a 6mm hex wrench.Bolt caps and 'cone' nuts are also stainless steel, and are heavily knurled for good bite, reducing the chance for your wheel to slip in the frame under high load. The cones and dust caps interlock to maintain axle stiffness. Ultra New hubs spin on non-adjustable 6901 model bearings. Throw your wheel on the bike, tighten the bolts and ride. One other thing you might like to know: All the Ultra New hardware will retrofit to New hubs. That is, we sell kits to completely transform your old New hubs into Ultra New hubs, complete with new axle, bolts, bearings, and the rest of the Ultra New hardware. Find the right kit for your New hub, install, and go.

Halo Double Fix-G Track Hub

An ever present headache with "normal fixed hubs" is the assembly of a drive cog that is attached by a thread being pulled in both directions by the pedal torque. Of course, the traditional solution to avoiding the cog unwinding itself from the hub in the reverse direction is a left hand threaded lockring, butted up tight against the cog. But, as many riders have found out, this historic system can be relatively volatile.Halo thought... there has to be a better way: A splined hub body (with cogs that slide on) and an independent lockring... that never has to handle rotational forces from the drive."Halo's HG spline system is so obvious and brilliant that other brands must be kicking themselves for not thinking of it first: it can't slip or thread; it's way easier to fit/swap and will take down to 12t cogs, it's genius". - Ty at the Footdown (www.thefootdown.co.uk). Oct 2011 "The Fix-g hub is great! it runs smoothly as the previous Halo hub but the fact that you can move the sprocket for a perfect chainline is great and you can feel the difference straight away. Also, it's really easy to do, everyone can do it without a mechanic's help, I think you should advertise this and make it clear for everyone, people don't have to be scared of a new technology..." Halo Caliber 700c Road Rim

Halo's deepest-section rim so far. 38mm Deep Aero 700c rims.   16/8E explained: The hub offers an extra wide offset left hand non drive spoke flange (to increase the A-frame type support structure of the spokes to the rim) and counter balances the, common, resulting uneven spoke tension problem by having only 8 spokes on the heavily offset side vs 16 on the almost straight dished drive side. The rim and the hub have been specially drilled to accommodate the 16/8E configuration to result in the spokes being "Evenly" spaced in the rim's circumference. All of the rear spokes are "crossed" to provide a tangential structure to spread the drive torque throughout all of the 24 spok es (rather than having some spokes in a radial configuration that are unable to effectively help transfer torque drive from the hub to the rim). Halo's theory being that if you spread the drive torque over all 24 of the rear spokes (rather than just some of the spokes on the drive side alone), then this further divides it up, and thus reduces the torque transferred to each spoke.
