The Devaura Series is ready whatever the conditions, to offer you the aerodynamic advantage. Bbrand new Devaura Disc RD2 wheels utilise Center Lock disc brake technology, allowing consistently powerful braking on the road and CX courses alike. The 19mm internal, 24mm external rim widths allow you to run your choice of traditional or tubeless tyres and are well suited to modern tyres ranging from 25C through to 38C widths to deliver enhanced comfort and grip. At the core of Devaura Disc RD2 wheels are all new 120 point pick up RD2 Supadrive and RD2 Front hubs, with sealed bearings and wide spaced flanges for increased durability. These are hand built onto the dependable 30mm deep rims with very own Aero Racing bladed spokes to decrease wind resistance. Both front and rear wheels use a 16/8e lacing pattern to balance spoke tensions and withstand torque and braking forces from centre of the wheels, reducing any possible lateral flex and increase power transfer. Supplied pre-taped, Devaura Disc RD2 wheels are tubeless ready from the box. Halo Double Fix-G Track Hub

An ever present headache with "normal fixed hubs" is the assembly of a drive cog that is attached by a thread being pulled in both directions by the pedal torque. Of course, the traditional solution to avoiding the cog unwinding itself from the hub in the reverse direction is a left hand threaded lockring, butted up tight against the cog. Halo Fix-G Track Hub

An ever present headache with traditional fixed hubs is the assembly of a drive sprocket that is attached by a thread being pulled in both directions by the pedal torque. The usual solution to avoiding the sprocket unwinding itself from the hub is a left-hand threaded lock-ring, butted up tight against the sprocket. But, as many riders have found out, this system can be quite volatile.Halo thought, there has to be a better way... and the solution - an HG splined hub body, with sprockets that slide on and an independent lockring that never has to handle rotational forces from the drive.Halo Fix-G advantages: Easy and secure fixing and servicing. Adjustable chainline - 41 to 52mm. Accepts 12 - 20T sprockets. No need for chainwhip tools.

Halo's deepest-section rim so far. 38mm Deep Aero 700c rims.   16/8E explained: The hub offers an extra wide offset left hand non drive spoke flange (to increase the A-frame type support structure of the spokes to the rim) and counter balances the,common,resulting uneven spoke tension problem by having only 8 spokes on the heavily offset side vs 16 on the almost straight dished drive side. The rim and the hub have been specially drilled to accommodate the 16/8E configuration to result in the spokes being "Evenly" spaced in the rim's circumference. All of the rear spokes are "crossed" to provide a tangential structure to spread the drive torque throughout all of the 24 spok es (rather than having some spokes in a radial configuration that are unable to effectively help transfer torque drive from the hub to the rim). Halo's theory being that if you spread the drive torque over all 24 of the rear spokes (rather than just some of the spokes on the drive side alone), then this further divides it up, and thus reduces the torque transferred to each spoke.
