The Campagnolo Calima wheelset is built for riders who want reliable, versatile performance without the premium price tag.

Light enough for steep climbing efforts and durable enough for rough roads, Calima offers a balanced ride feel that suits training, fast commutes and long endurance days. With Campagnolo's engineering throughout, it delivers smooth rolling, impressive rigidity and dependable everyday performance.

Who is the Campagnolo Calima wheelset good for?

Calima is ideal for enthusiastic road cyclists, endurance riders and those upgrading from stock wheels. It suits anyone who values low maintenance, strong build quality and excellent lateral stiffness. The Mega G3 spoke pattern and hand-built construction make it a strong option for riders who want proven Campagnolo reliability without stepping into a higher price tier.

When and where should the Campagnolo Calima wheelset be used?

This wheelset is designed for year round riding, excelling on varied terrain from fast flat roads to rolling hills and challenging climbs. The 24 mm rim profile provides stability in crosswinds and predictable handling on technical routes. The C17 rim design supports modern 25 to 28 mm tyres, adding comfort and grip for rough surfaces, winter conditions and big training miles.

How will some of the key features of the Campagnolo Calima enhance my experience?

The Mega G3 spoke pattern increases power transfer and reduces stress on the drive side by doubling the spoke count compared to the non drive side. This improves stiffness and delivers a more responsive feel under acceleration. Sealed cartridge bearings ensure smooth, long lasting performance, while the precisely machined spoke seats increase spoke life and durability. The aluminium hubs and steel axle offer excellent lateral stiffness and strength for consistent performance across different riding conditions.

Why choose the Campagnolo Calima wheelset?

Choose Calima if you want a robust, well-engineered wheelset backed by Campagnolo's hand-built craftsmanship. It strikes a strong balance of weight, responsiveness and everyday reliability, making it a standout choice for training, commuting or upgrading a road bike to a more dependable and refined setup. Hand assembly and electronic quality checks ensure every wheel meets Campagnolo's high standards.

Yes. With a 24 mm low profile rim and relatively low weight for the category, Calima performs well on long climbs and rolling routes where acceleration and responsiveness are important.

Can I use wider tyres with the Calima wheelset?

Absolutely. The C17 rim design is optimised for 25 to 28 mm tyres, providing improved comfort, grip and stability on modern road bikes.

What is the benefit of the Mega G3 spoke pattern?

Mega G3 increases spoke density on the drive side to improve power transfer, reduce stress and enhance overall wheel stiffness. It results in a more responsive feel, especially under load.

Are Calima wheels hand built?

Yes. Every Calima wheel is hand assembled by Campagnolo technicians and checked with electronic measurement tools for accuracy and long term reliability.

What freehub options are available?

Calima is available with both Campagnolo (CA 9/10/11/12x) and Shimano (SH 9/10/11/12x) compatible freehubs.

Dispatched Dates/Due in Dates (Pre-orders)
We try to provide as accurate as possible information on the arrival of our pre-order products. The dispatched dates/due in dates shown are an estimate of when the products will be available as provided by our suppliers. At Triton Cycles we aim to make returns as straightforward as possible.

If you purchase an eligible item online, you have 14 days from receiving your order to notify us that you wish to cancel it. Once you have notified us, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

The quickest and easiest way to arrange a return is to log into your Triton Cycles account, open the relevant order and select the returns option. This records the return against your order and helps us process it more quickly when it arrives.

If you are unable to arrange your return through your account, please contact us before sending anything back.

For a full refund, products should be returned in a condition consistent with reasonable inspection and, wherever possible, complete with their original retail packaging, internal packaging, accessories, manuals and fittings.

Please do not write on manufacturer packaging, attach courier or postage labels directly to it, or use branded product packaging as the outer shipping box. Please place the product inside a suitable mailing bag or separate outer box.

If an item has been fitted, installed, used or handled beyond what would reasonably be necessary to inspect it, and this has reduced its value, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund.

Unless an item is faulty, damaged or has been supplied incorrectly, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

If an item arrives damaged, is faulty or is not the item you ordered, please contact us before returning it. Retain all packaging and, where possible, provide photographs showing the item and any damage. In many cases we may be able to resolve an issue without requiring the complete product to be returned.

If you believe that an item may be faulty or require a warranty claim, please contact us first rather than booking it as a standard return. Our experienced team or workshop may be able to diagnose the issue remotely or advise on the quickest way to resolve it.

Lithium-ion batteries, including e-bike batteries, are subject to special transport restrictions and should not be returned using an ordinary postal or courier service without first contacting us.

Bicycles purchased online may be returned in accordance with your applicable statutory rights. Please contact us before returning a bicycle so that we can advise on the appropriate return method. Collection costs for change-of-mind bicycle returns will normally be payable by the customer.

For bicycles purchased and collected in-store, we do not accept returns simply because you have changed your mind. Exchanges on unused items may be considered at our discretion where a suitable alternative is available.

International return shipping and any reverse duties or taxes are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed. Original delivery charges are not refunded where an international order is returned because customs or import charges have not been paid.

All purchases and refunds are processed in Sterling (GBP). Triton Cycles is not responsible for differences caused by exchange-rate movements or charges applied by banks or payment providers.
